New Life Mwangaza Rehabilitation Centre (NLMRC), located in Katani, Machakos County, is a transition center for street-connected boys aged 14–18. Founded in 2008 with support from the Sisters of Mercy and other partners, it offers residential rehabilitation and aftercare to rescue, rehabilitate, reintegrate, and empower youth affected by drug abuse. NLMRC works with families, communities, and the government to prevent street life and promote self-reliant, drug-free living.
