NLMRC Rescue Programme
Taking Children and Youth from the Street to a Life of Dignity
The Purpose of Rescue
The primary objective of the rescue programme is to bring street-connected children and youth into a safe environment where they can begin a journey toward living useful and drug-free lives in a family setting,.
Rescue interventions are considered highly aligned with emerging community needs due to the rising street family population and the high dependence of street-connected children and youth on drugs and substances. Rescue provides an opportunity for clients to move out of unfavorable street environments, access necessary rehabilitation services for behavior change and drug recovery, and prepare for sustainable family reunification.
Who We Rescue

This initial support marks the beginning of their transformation toward full recovery and family reunification.
